Student: I indicated on enrolment that I had a disability. Do I still need to contact the Disability

If you indicated at enrolment that you had a disability, the Disability Resource Centre will send you an invitation to make contact if you wish to register for services. If you are managing your studies without difficulty and do not need adjustments in order to achieve your academic goals, you do not have to register with the Disability Resource Centre.

If, however, your disability is impacting on your studies and you register with the Disability Resource Centre, a Deakin Access Plan will be developed for you. Whilst you can register with the Disability Resource Centre at any time in the trimester, we encourage you to make early contact so that a Deakin Access Plan outlining all your study needs is prepared and distributed for you in a timely manner.
