I have lost my student card, who do I contact about this?

If your Deakin Card (student ID card) is lost, misplaced or stolen then you must immediately deactivate the card online. An email will then be sent to you with further instructions.

You will need to either request your replacement Deakin Card online through the Order your Deakin Card form or drop into your nearest on-campus Student Central Hub to have a card printed in person (no appointment required). There is a fee of $20 to replace your Deakin Card, unless you lost your card along with something of value and can provide a Police report or Statutory Declaration.

If you order online, your replacement card will be mailed to your postal address, so make sure your details are up to date and correct in StudentConnect. Allow 3-5 business days for your Deakin Card to be sent to you via Australia Post, or up to 15 business days if posted outside Australia.

Please note that if you have intermitted or deferred your course then you will need to wait until you have returned to or started your study before requesting a card.

Once you receive your new card, you should contact the Deakin Card team and they will reactivate it for you. Find their contact details on the Deakin Card webpage. You will then need to wait between 1 to 24 hours before being able to print.
