Connecting to Wi-Fi (Wifi, eduroam) on iPad/iPhone/iPod



1. At the Home screen, tap Settings.




2. In the left-hand Settings menu, tap Wi-Fi
  • Ensure the Wi-Fi button is On, then tap Deakin Setup.


3. Enter your Deakin username. Tap JoinNow.



4. When prompted to install the Deakin University eduroam profile - Tap Install.



5. When prompted with the Certificate warning - Tap Install.



6. If prompted for your device passcode, enter it now.



7. Enter your Deakin University password, tap Next.



8. Tap Done.



9. You will now be connected to the eduroam network.



 

What do I do if I change my Deakin password?

When you change your Deakin password, your device will no longer connect to the eduroam network. You will need to update the password in your Wi-Fi settings.

The eduroam profile will already be installed, you can simply update your password.

1. At the Home screen, tap Settings.

2. In the left-hand Settings menu, tap Wi-Fi

  • Ensure the Wi-Fi button is On, then tap eduroam.

3. You will now be prompted for a password to connect to eduroam - enter your new Deakin password and tap Join.
